About the Role:

This Associate-level BI Developer role is part of the AIDT team, where you’ll collaborate with business units and technology teams across project lifecycles. You will develop enterprise-level applications, design scalable data models, and deliver intuitive reporting solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and build enterprise-level applications using BI technologies.
  • Design and implement scalable data models for intuitive dashboards and reporting.
  • Develop cross-functional custom reporting solutions.
  • Analyze business user stories and translate them into actionable tasks.
  • Interface with global teams of developers and business users.
  • Work as part of an Agile Squad or Fleet.
  • Conduct proof-of-concept work in new areas of development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of automated systems.
  • Participate in all SDLC phases: analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in BI development.
  • Experience developing reports and designing universes in Business Objects.
  • Expertise in developing dashboards with Tableau and Power BI.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as DB2, Sybase, and Teradata.
  • Strong SQL skills (DDL, DML, writing complex queries for data analysis).
  • Experience in data modeling and transforming large-scale data sets using SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Snowflake, Teradata, or other Big Data technologies.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including facts, dimensions, star and snowflake schemas.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git or BitBucket.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools like Tivoli or Autosys.
  • Experience with Unix scripting.
  • Understanding of large enterprise application requirements (security, entitlements, etc.).
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in writing unit tests and understanding of the SDLC.
